It was then time to add the titles of each page on to the homepage. I did this by creating an image on Photoshop with the font 'Sandwich' which we downloaded from DaFont and used throughout our digipak. We wanted to use it for the titles and links on the website so that there was consistency through both platforms. I then uploaded these images with the correct words on them and linked them to the page that the button will navigate to. I placed them all next to each other, all the same size so it looks professional. These buttons I placed at the top of the homepage so you see them straight away and know what they are for.
I then added the relevant titles to the rest of the homepage. We have a slideshow of images on the left which will link to the gallery when you click on the title. The music title doesn't link to another page because the music video is already shown on the homepage where it will be seen and watched straight away. I also lined all the titles up together using the green bar making them stand out more.
You can see here that the background image most definitely blends in with the green coloured bar underneath the titles, which means that all the colours match.
Here is another title which also doesn't need to link to another page as all of the latest news is displayed on the home page. It is also easy to see here that I changed the opacity of the light brown background so that the picture of the tunnel can be slightly seen through it, making it more interesting.
I have also changed all the fonts on each of the pages so that it will fit in more. To do this I had to customise each font that I wanted to use and then apply it to the text that we have.
