Today we connected together both the narrative and performance edit together on to one computer after editing them on different computers. We firstly did this by exporting the narrative edit and then importing the file into the same Final Cut Pro project, however as you can see above the narrative shots are all a smaller size than the performance shots so we will have to try and fix this.
This is the timeline showing the all the narrative shots on the top row, and where the gaps are the performance shots underneath will fill them.

Today I have spent a bit of time going through the narrative and fitting some performance shots in so there is not too much at one point, rather than it constantly switching between both. By doing this it will bring more of a variety to the video and keep the audience entertained at all times.
On the top row of shots you can see the gaps, this is where the performance shots are going and will be played, so there are snippets of the performance throughout the narrative so it doesn't just look like a story.

Today I have gone through more of the narrative and where the large gaps are checked that the performance shots there are up to a high standard and all the lip syncing is looks good and believable.
Also I added a few more bits of performance in the narrative again so it will keeping cutting back to the band, making it more interesting.
These are a couple of the shots during the gaps, where the lip synching is very good and matches up perfectly, we made sure that the best performance shots would fill the gaps where there is no narrative at all.
